While in Split View, click the full-screen button on one of the windows.You'll find a zoom button (looks like a green plus sign) in place of the full-screen button. Note: Some apps don't support Split View on macOS. Simply launch Mission Control and drag a window onto the full-screen app Space. You can also bring an app into Split View using Mission Control.
